Jakub Čech

Jakub Čech is an award-winning, multi-disciplined CGI artist with over ten years of experience, serving as CEO and Creative Director of his eponymous Košice-based studio and Creative Director at Mode Maison. Born and raised in a small Slovakian village, Jakub has been working with CGI tools since his teenage years, always fascinated by the intricacies of nature and how light impacts imagery. Fusing art and technology based on the principle that CGI is an art tool, Jakub's curiosity, innovation, and artistic flair have led to collaborations with world-leading architects, designers, and makers. His deep technical knowledge includes expertise in photorealistic rendering, photogrammetry, structured light 3D model acquisition, and material appearance acquisition. At Mode Maison, he has developed all CGI-related processes from 3D model creation through material scanning to final imagery, revolutionizing luxury furniture retail with detailed visuals down to single stitches, hair, and dust.
