LUXIGON
About
LUXIGON is a Paris-based architectural visualization studio founded in 2007 by Eric de Broche des Combes, following the closure of his earlier studio Auralab. Known for their distinctive cinematic approach and unconventional imagery, LUXIGON has become one of the most recognizable visualization studios globally, working with prestigious clients including OMA, BIG, MVRDV, REX, and Mecanoo. The studio deliberately rejects conventional architectural visualization, instead creating imagery that feels more like film stills or comic book panels. Drawing inspiration from cinematography, particularly the work of Kubrick and Blade Runner, LUXIGON creates heavily saturated, dramatically lit visualizations that tell stories rather than simply document buildings. Founded by architects who despise "convention, hierarchy, and authority," the studio operates with locations in both Paris and Los Angeles, consistently pushing the boundaries of what architectural visualization can be.
