About

YARD is a Marbella-based design studio founded in 2019 by Ruben Sabou (Founder/Architect/CG Artist), offering architecture, interior design, and architectural visualization services. Guided by a minimalist philosophy, the studio transforms spaces into refined environments that blend beauty, functionality, and simplicity, focusing on creating purposeful designs that elevate each space with elegance and subtlety. Ruben Sabou graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 2015, worked at prestigious architecture firm ARHIMAR, and later became a Project Manager at international creative production studio Brick Visual, contributing to projects for world-renowned firms including Zaha Hadid Architects, UNS, Tom Wiscombe Architects, and Gensler. The team includes Iulia Sabou as Designer, who brings psychology and hospitality management backgrounds along with interior design certification and a keen eye for Japanese and Scandinavian minimalism. At YARD, every project is an opportunity to craft timeless spaces that resonate with modern simplicity through new builds, renovations, or 3D visualizations.
