ZUMO

About

ZUMO is a creative studio for digital architectural visualization based in Barcelona. Founded in 2020, the studio bridges classical architectural knowledge with a technological approach, exploring new ways of perceiving architecture and deliberately blurring the boundary between fiction and reality. ZUMO creates images, animations, and conceptual visuals for a wide range of scales, from intimate architectural projects to large masterplans, covering competitions as well as built work. The studio collaborates with architects, designers, and developers across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States. Every project is partner-led, ensuring a consistent artistic vision and careful attention from concept to final delivery. The studio was founded by Andre Sashko and Alessandro Lussignoli. Andre studied architecture at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and completed his Master’s at ETSAB in Barcelona, with research focused on mass society and architecture. Prior to ZUMO, he worked as a design architect at Barozzi Veiga, contributing to international exhibitions and competitions. Alessandro graduated from the Politecnico di Milano and continued his studies at ETSAV, co-founding the research collective IRA-C and participating in exhibitions at the Venice Biennale and Triennale di Milano. He also worked at Barozzi Veiga, where he was involved in numerous international projects and competitions. ZUMO’s work aims to reveal the essence of architecture through strong visual narratives, creating images that communicate atmosphere, intention, and emotion with clarity and depth.
